Italian Rice

Very bland. Had to add more balsamic vinegar, italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and greek seasoning to get it to a palatable level. Won't be making again.

Mexican Rice II

It's a 4 star dish the way it is written, a 5 star with the substitution of salsa for the tomato sauce.

Orange Salmon with Rice

I added extra OJ and still wasn't a fan of this dish. There are better salmon dishes that feature OJ on this site.

You have to REALLY like Italian dressing in order to enjoy this meal. My husband thought they were okay, I wasn't so thrilled with them. I tried them with the potatoes & onions as suggested by some other reviewers and didn't like them. The italian dressing was just way too strong.

Brown Rim Cookies

These cookies are okay, not wonderful. I added a little bit more sugar than what it called for and also added some nutmeg to give them more flavor.

Orange Spiced Chicken

I have a question, are the amounts for the OJ and the soy sauce backwards, by any chance? The intro. says that it's supposed to be,"A classic, traditional orange flavored chicken dish with a kick!" but the predominate taste is the soy sauce. IF, I make it again, I'm going to switch the amounts.

Grilled Marinated Salmon

This is a very good marinade recipe that does not require a lot of time for preparation (at least the marinade doesn't require overnight).

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

This is a really good recipe. The next time I make it I'm going to try adding a little bit of Jack Daniels to see if it improves the flavor. It needs a tad bit more a kick to make it a 5 star recipe.

Beer and Soy Sauce Chicken

Way too salty!! I used low sodium soy sauce and added no additional salt and it was still way to salty. The chicken was tender, but the saltiness of it overshadowed any good qualities
