Jalapeno Popper Spread

One of the best dips I've ever tasted! I added shredded cheddar to the cream cheese mixture, omitted the parm and topped with panko bread crumbs instead to give it the crunch that poppers have. Used french bread slices to dip. Phenominal!!!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

PURE CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!!!!! I used brewed coffee instead of the water, a bad of semisweet chips and a nestle 4oz bar of bittersweet. used large eggs. baked in my 9 inch springform pain for exactly 45 minutes, refrigerated for a few hours, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with real whipped cream and fresh raspberries. PURE CHOCOLATE HEAVEN! I'd give this 10 stars if I could!

Sweet Potatoes With Feta Cheese

mmmmmmmmmm, delicious!!! i peeled my potatoes and tossed them with salt, pepper, garlic, and evoo. roasted til tender, then topped with plain feta and balsamic, for the last 5 minutes, outstanding! can't wait to make them again!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

This is the best scone recipe out there. They are moist, tender and delicious! I've made them for showers and parties and everyone always raves about them! One thing, I've made these as directed mixing the baking soda and sour cream AND I've made them just adding the baking soda to the dry ingredients and adding the sour cream with the eggs. THEY TURN OUT EXACTLY THE SAME! So, save yourself another bowl to wash and don't bother with the sour cream/b. soda mixture! I like to use dried cherries or dried blueberries in mine and make a lemon glaze with 2T lemon juice and cup powdered sugar and drizzle over the top when cool. They're also good with egg wash and sugar sprinkled on top before baking and served with a good quality jam or fruit preserves!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chicken Wing Dip

My family went NUTS for this dip! I used store bought rotisserie chicken and blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. I live in Buffalo, NY and ranch belongs on a salad--NOT a wing :) I used shredded colby-jack cheese and it didn't get as oily as cheddar and stayed smoother. If you can get ahold of Franks Red Hot Sauce, it's the best.

Very good salsa recipe! I doubled the tomatoes but left the amounts of all the other ingredients the same. I also used 2 whole serrano peppers, seeds and all, in place of the chiles

Squash Dip

We didn't care for this. The goat cheese flavor was too strong and the tang from the lemon seemed to accentuate that even more. Maybe a combo of feta and cream cheese would be better? It was also very thick. Probably won't attempt this again.

Apple Strudel Muffins

so delicious! i used grated apple and added 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg to the batter. these didn't last 1 day in our house! i'll be making these over and over this fall! update!---i made these again, added 1/2 cup pumpkin, poured into a loaf pan, baked for 50 minutes. yum!

Chris' Bay Area Burger

These were very tasty! Use fresh basil, it makes a big difference in the flavor. I melted a slice of mozzerella cheese on them and made a little garlic mayo. Will definitely make again.

No Bake Cookies III

These were very easy to make. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but I didn't really like them. Maybe add some raisins? Hubby liked them but agreed they "needed something" I probably won't make them again.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I made these substituting rhubarb for the blueberries and added an extra 1/4 cup of sugar to balance out that tartness. I also added 2 tablespoons of wheat germ. They were moist and delicious!
