Rich Chocolate Frosting

excellent frosting. It makes to much so I decreased it to half and it was plenty for a 2 layer cake plus had some still left over. Would be best though if put in the fridge after the cake was frosted. Got alittle soft sitting on the counter for a few hours.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This was exceptional. I did not have chocolate pudding so I used a box of vanilla instead. I also used 1 square of unsweetened chocolate melted in the microwave since I didn't have chocolate pudding. Instead of the vegetable oil I used 1 cup of apple sauce and in place of the water I used 1/2 cup of coffee. I did end up adding alittle more water since I used the applesauce instead of oil. Maybe an extra 1/4 -1/3cup of water. I used no oil at all. Instead of chocolate chips I put in some peanut butter chips I had left over. IT was wonderful. For frosting I used 4 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate1 pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar1/2 cup butter or margarine-softened and 2 tsp. vanilla and1/3 cup milk. This was a keeper. Wonderful recipe. Very moist

Best Guacamole

I made this - not very impressed. Don't know why everyone rated it so high. I did find out though when buying avocodo's to be ones that are very soft. No place did I see this in the notes. I had a hard time getting them mushed. But not many ate it and I followed the recipe to the exact. Will not make again.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

This was good. I didn't read the recipe correct because was in a hurry and didn't saute the onion but put them with the olive oil right into the tomato sauce and it turned out just fine. Not a problem at all and saved effort if you are in a hurry to get it mixed up. I actually simmered it for about 3 hours. My husband said he liked but thought Prego was just as good... Prego does have a good sauce! So may not put this much effort for awhile to sauce since my family liked prego equally as much. THe meatballs were very good... I have made them like this but used soda cracers instead and liked that alot too.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

These were pretty good. Have had recipes I have liked better. Could really taste the spices and I used 5 large potatoes. Probably will try a different recipe next time.

Toffee Caramel Squares

These are excellent. I doubled the recipe so I could put it into a 9 x 13 pan. I did let the carmel or the 2nd layer cool before putting on the top chocolate layer. I did boil the carmel layer 6 minutes so it stayed firm and not ran when cut. Will definetely be a winner on the Christmas tray of goodies!

Luck 'O The Irish Brownie

These are SO VERY awesome! For the topping I tried something different-- I took 1/4 c. butter, 1/4c. water and 4 squares sweetened bakers chocolate and melted in microwave. Only do about 15-20 seconds at a time to be sure don't cook the mixture.Then add about 1- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Let cool at room temperature before topping the green layer. I used this as the topping and loved it. I did as someone else suggested between each layer and that is to put in the freezer for a bit so each next layer spreads easier. Cut into small brownies. THey are rich but WONDERFUL! Don't over cook the bottom layer.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Awesome. I used it to decorate a large cookie with writing. YOu may have to play with the consistency alittle with powdered sugar so it will come out a bag and through a writing tip. EXCELLENT!

Chocolate Trifle

This is good. Not the best dessert I have ever had but good. Disappears fast. I would love to try a different pudding then chocolate-- maybe a mocha flavored-- or would like to try flavoring with the chocolate like mint to add more flavor.
