Mango Tango

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
I thought this was pretty tasty. I added 1/2 of a large can of mandarin oranges (as suggested) with the juice, and just blended it (don't have a juicer). It was thick and chunky (with fruit), but delicious. My husband and I loved it. Will make again.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Who needs Corner Bakery with this recipe? This was so tasty and moist! I doubled the topping and mixed it in (instead of layering it) and added a litte on top for some crunch. Topped with powdered sugar and fresh raspberries. YUM! A keeper!

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Excellent. I doubled the sauce and put half in the pan with the meat, then added the rest for the remaining 20 minutes of cook time. Also good with Apricot jam. Tasty!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Wow..my husband and I loved these! I used red, yellow and orange bell peppers since that's what I had. I also toasted the buns first, then broiled the sandwich to melt the cheese. Delish!!

BLT Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I brought this to a potluck and everyone loved it. I think it tastes best with the packaged ranch dressing mix, adding buttermilk and mayo to it, rather than bottled ranch. Also, next time I think I'd add sharp cheddar cheese to it. Yum!

Easy and tasty. I seasoned the chicken with onion and garlic powder, pepper and a little seasoning salt. Very good.

I did add about a cup of cheese for more flavor, but this dish is tasty and easy to make. Great served with stew or pot roast.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2006
This is tasty, although it is very sweet. Next time I would double the jello because the layer was very thin (or I would add the 2 cups of cold water that it instructs on the jello package, which is not in the directions). Otherwise, a great side dish (or dessert).

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

After making this a few times, I found that adding a small can of green chiles to the soup mixture gives it the "something" that it needs. It's also great served over pasta noodles.

Easy Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
Well I am always the one that orders "extra" whipped cream on everything so I love to make my own. This was good...it was much more thick and creamy vs. the normal "whipped" texture. Tasted almost like cheesecake probably because of the sour cream. Would be great with berries or a fruity dessert. Will make again!

Fiesta Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
Tasty. I actually cooked the meat first (because I didn't read the directions right) so I only had to bake them for 30 minutes. I also topped them with cheese and then added more salsa and a little sour cream once they were cooked. Very good.

Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil Dressing

This was good...but like another user suggested, I used less olive oil and a little more balsamic. Good over spinach and strawberry salad.

Oh Yum! I thought this was great. I couldn't find dry onion soup mix so I used a can of onion soup which made it saucier. I also added dumplings on top. Very tasty!

This is a light, but tasty, dish. I added some veggies that I had on hand - bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes and fresh tomatoes on top. Great as a side dish or light main meal.
