Balsamic Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
This sauce is full of flavor. I made 2 batches...one was served over tortellini and husband devoured it. The second was served with whole wheat pasta, broccoli, chicken, sundried tomatoes & fresh corn cut from the cob. Both were great!

Award Winning Chili

Delish! My husband and I loved this. I think the steak sauce & wine give it that extra yum flavor. I used chili beans with jalapenos for a nice kick. Will be in my keeper list. Thanks.

Gorgonzola Pear Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This is definitely a 5 star recipe because it took a whole 20 minutes to make and it was so full of flavor (my husband couldn't stop eating it.) I used a 1 1b. bag of whole wheat penne pasta, a 5 oz. container of gorgonzola and doubled the rest of the ingredients, with the exception of the pear which I tripled. I also used half & half only because that's what I had on hand. It was delicious. This will be in my keeper box. Thank you.

Love this recipe. I grill the chicken and then slice it and serve it on top of the pasta. I make this dish for new moms and it's always a hit!

Zippy Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Very tasty..had a very nice flavor. To save a little time, I boiled the corn for 3 minutes, spread the mixture on it, wrapped it in foil, and grilled it for 10 minutes. (Otherwise it takes a long time on the grill to cook). Yum-O!

This was very tasty but I thought it could use some crunch, so I added some sliced almonds. Perfect!

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

I like to add some diced avocado (right before serving). I have a similar recipe that I use for egg salad...just throw it all in a bowl, mix it up, toss it on some toasted squaw bread and add sliced avocado. Delish!

This is the most addictive snack!! I use crunchy peanut butter and always use extra...it gives the chex an extra thick coating and gives it a stonger peanut butter flavor. So good!

Delish! Because this is a quick and fairly easy recipe, I made 2 rolls and froze one for later. The cream cheese filling is incredible!

Good Stuff! If you like chocolate, I would increase the chocolate chips to 2 cups because the top layer was a little on the thin side. Very tasty!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This was very good but VERY garlic-y (even for garlic lovers)...I would only use 1 tsp next time. Along with the sauce, I sauteed up some chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, bacon and threw in some peas and served it over ravioli. Husband gobbled it up. Very easy to make!

Banana Pudding IV

This didn't last long at the party I brought it to. I used a small package of vanilla pudding and 1/2 of a small package of butterscotch pudding with just 2 cups of cold whole milk (instead of 3). Great flavor! Makes a lot!!!

Artichokes

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
I just put all the seasonings in the water (or sometimes I'll use chicken broth) with a little olive oil, garlic and onion powder, a bay leaf, lemon juice, a little parsley, a splash of white wine, and then steam them. I love dipping them in blue cheese dressing. Yum! My husband doensn't like to eat vegetables but he loves these!
