Jalapeno Hot Sauce

I have never made my own hot sauce but after this recipe I don't think I'll ever buy hot sauce again! The only thing I changed was to reduce the vinegar to 3/4 cup. Great recipe!

Basil Pan-Seared Scallops over Pasta

I really wanted to like this because we love scallops. I tasted the scallops after cooking them and they were delicious. I have to say though that there is way to much oil in the sauce, and it was kind of bland. I will probobly make the scallops this way again but serve them with a rice dish and vegetable.

Coconut Shrimp I

I have never made coconut shrimp before but decided to make them because my husband always orders them from a local fish market/takeout where we live. these were delicious. Very similar to restaurant but better. I used jumbo shrimp and the marmalade sauce requested by other comments.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

This was a nice change from my usual meatloaf recipe. I make a meatloaf that has chopped peppers and onions etc. and its hard to get my picky kids to eat it. They loved this and had at least 2 slices each. I will definitely make again!

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs

This is the same recipe that my Nan made every holiday when I was growing up. I have tried many others but I always come back to this one and it's the only one that my kids will eat. I always make sure I put the celery and onions in the food processer for about 5 or 6 pulses but be careful not to over do it or it will draw all of the water out and turn to mush.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Absolutely the best creamed corn I have ever had! My family loved this. This recipe made so much that I used the leftover creamed corn to make corn chowder the next day. I sauteed chopped ham and half an onion in butter, added the creamed corn, 3 cooked diced potatoes, some milk to thin it out, and a dash of cayenne. omg the best corn chowder ever because of the creamed corn!!!

Eggplant Parmesan II

This is my first time making eggplant parmesan. This had a nice flavor but was way too cheesy for me and my family. I will make again but use half the amount of mozzarella. Just a personal preference.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

I doubled this recipe and I didn't realize until I started cooking that I only had 2 cans of stewed tomatoes. I added a can of diced tomatoes and I threw a fresh jersey tomato in the processer and added it. I followed the rest of the recipe except I simmered it about an hour because of the fresh tomato that I added. omg this is the best sauce I have ever had. My family said that they only want this sauce for now on!!! Next time I will try with just the stewed tomatoes as the recipe states and see if it tastes any different.

Baked French Toast

I made this for Easter morning. I added 6 eggs and reduced the milk as recommended by other reviews but this was way too soggy. It was like mush, I tried cooking it longer but that didn't help. I won't make this again. very dissapointed!

I never made colcannon before but came across this recipe looking for something different to serve with corned beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day. This was great and so much better than the boring boiled potatoes I usually serve with it.

Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches

This is the only corned beef recipe I will make for now on, Excellent!! We ate it with cabbage and colcannon on St. Patty's Day, used it on a rueben the next day, and on the third day I made corned beef hash, and we would have ate it a fourth day but it was all gone. It was that good!!

Central American Tacos

My husband loved this recipe! It's a nice change from the traditional mexican tacos that I make. The only thing I changed is added cumin to the meat and only added 2 potatoes. The sauce was excellent and reminded me of guacamole.A+

Special Deviled Eggs

The first time I made this the filling was runny and all I could taste was onion and relish. I made it a second time and reduced the onion to 1 Tbsp. drained the relish and used 11/2 tbsp. and it came out great!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I followed the recipe and didn't change a thing and it came out delicious. Be aware this is a more creamy version of cheesecake, but we loved it. My husband loves cheesecake and it just wouldn't be thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. So put them both together and (waolah) pumpkin cheesecake. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
