Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I made these before and enjoyed them. The ideas with melted cheese is good, but when I put these on the table everyone goes for the ranch dressing for a dip instead of the cheese. I also lice them long ways and call them Snake Fangs. But for the most part very similar in ingredients. Use a good Belgian Beer for a different flavor.

Im sorry to say this but this is the first negative review I have ever posted.... Just add some pickles and peanutbutter to this, and maybe it will get better... or maybe not.

Picnic Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
This is a wonderful recipie. I did as others suggested with the buttermilk and paprika and lowering the salt, but I also had to make a seperate batch for my dad. For those of you on a LOW CARB DIET, instead of flour use 1 part crush porkrines and 1 part soy flour. My family enjoyed the pork rines more than the flour and next time we will use spicy pork rines!! But the original is very good!

Honey-Poppy Seed Cornish Hens

I added about a Tablesppon of fresh crushed garlic and it gave it such a kick that the 2 hens I made were not enough and most of my other dishes were over looked because they all wanted more of the hens! ADD FRESH GARLIC, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

SUPER SWEET STRAIGHT SUGAR!!! Fo a more festive look add a little bit of red food coloring to the cheese mixture and make sure the mint candies are green....sprinkle a light layer of either powder sugar or shredded coconut for a snow appearence!
