Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
great. my glaze didn't set up in the pan tho. It was delicious. I used Wildflower honey that was unfiltered and uncooked (the best) although orange blossom is right up there. kept it on a double boiler and used one of those new basting brushes that are no stick..silicone...the ham was an uncooked hickory smoked ham and the natural juices may have kept the glaze from becoming a piece of glass.....it was great

Eggnog Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
ok..wont make again. Taste and texture was ok...it might have to do with eggnog ...just not a big fan, so why was i making it anyway? I did enjoy that the crust actually adhered to the cake and not the bottom of the pan. If u like eggnog u will probably like this. I used Pirate Rum.....great rum for baking has a very vanilla anise flavor. I had a merry christmas anyway! haha

Pork Chops with Stuffing

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
This is a great recipe, however, I did make some changes. First I layered a can of apple pie filling on the bottom. Sauteed the onions, celerey and portabella mushroom slices in the pan drippings, oil, and some butter. Prior to adding to crumbled day old cornbread and 2 slices of white bread. Omitted the garlic, and used sage, thyme, and parsley instead of the poultry seasoning in the reciepe...baked covered @ 300 degrees for 2 hours ..then broiled the top for a few minutes to brown the top of the dressing ...delish

Super Easy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2007
Decent Flavor, relatively simple to make, but I needed about 4 cups flour instead of 2. Maybe its he humidity and altitude, but, the came out very tasty. Still will look for a better cake doughnut, and, I may make these again using a coconut or almond extract.
