About this Cook
Wife, and mother of 3. Part of our family must eat gluten free foods, which is a challenge for me to cook well.
My favorite things to cook
Anything the guys will enjoy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas cookies. Cooking with the guys.
My cooking triumphs
Chocolate souffle. Mmmm.
My cooking tragedies
About the first half of the gluten free recipes I tried. The day the oven didn't heat, while there was a 20 pound turkey chilling inside.

Gluten Free Macadamia Pie Crust
Soy flour gives this recipe a horrible aftertaste. The texture was great, but it tasted very strongly of soy.

Gluten-Free Yellow Cake
Moist and tasty. For an extra special taste, make your own mayonnaise for ue in this recipe.

Kayla's Southern Pecan Mist Cake
This was okay, but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't make it again, but everyone ate it. Too much trouble for not a very tasty cake. The information at the top of the recipe is incorrect--ground nuts freeze very well. So does the cake, if you can't finish it in a reasonable amount of time.
