I used Turkey Sweet Italian Sausage and instant brown rice. We really liked this.

Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I followed this exactly as written and it turned out great! It looked a little odd going into the oven, but after exactly 30 minutes it was done. I let it cool for a short while and then served with vanilla ice cream. My husband and I both made yummy noises as we ate it. I was nervous the dough wouldn't be done underneath (I hate gooey, undercooked dough), but it was and there was lots of chocolate syrup. I'll definitely be making this again. Very easy and very rich!

Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
This is very tasty. I added 2 cloves of garlic to the onion and also used yellow squash in addition to the zucchini. Since I wanted to use brown rice, I cooked it separately and added before serving.

Best Baked Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
I made this last night for dinner and it was a hit. I realized later that I forgot to pour butter on them, but they still turned out delicious. I used celery seed and garlic powder instead of the salt after reading other reviews. I will definitely make this again.

Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
These are delicious and very hard to stop eating. My oven must bake a little hotter because they were done at 24 minutes. My husband has always been a huge fan of 7 layer bars and says these are better. I especially like the fact that no mixer is involved.

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
I was out of cream of mushroom so substituted cream of chicken. Otherwise, I made it exactly as written and it was given thumbs up by all. My teenage daughter even went back for seconds. I served it with rice. I will definitely make this again.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I made this exactly as written and it was a hit. I didn't add all the broth at once, but ended up using all of it. I will definitely make this again.

Oven Omelet

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I made it for dinner and it was a hit. I added a little pre-cooked chopped onion and used cubed hashbrowns instead of shredded. I liked it as is, my daughter put catsup on it and my husband used salsa. It took about an hour to bake, though. Very quick and easy to make.

Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
I've made these several times and they're addicting. I used onion flakes (too lazy to grate onion) and regular mustard, sliced swiss cheese and sliced cojack cheese. My husband prefers the swiss, but I like the cojack. These are great reheated in the microwave, too.

Summerly Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
The only change I made was using a little butter instead of oil to cook the onions. Leftovers are good, too.

Quick and Easy Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
I lost count of the number of times I made this soup this past winter. I never used creole seasoning since I don't have any, but everyone loved it regardless. I used frozen veggies a lot and usually whatever I had on hand. I still can't believe how easy this is and how delicious it tastes.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
My husband and girls LOVED this meat. I felt it was good, but missing something although I couldn't tell you what. We ate it as tacos (hard and soft), but I almost think I'd have liked it better on a bun as a sandwich.

Pasta Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
I made this with whole wheat rotini and 1 lb of lean ground beef, but otherwise exactly as written. It was really good and I'd make it again. I think the rotini absorbed the sauce more than penne would, so I'll try it with penne next time.

Sarah's Applesauce

This is so simple and yet tastes so good. I've made it so many times in the last 3 months I've lost count. I even used it in a carrot cake recipe to replace part of the oil.

Classy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
I just realized I used the entire can of mushroom soup! It turned out fine, regardless. I made this for TG and I had 2 comments. One loved it and the other wanted the FF onions back. Personally, I thought the sour cream was a little over-powering. In the future, I'll most likely stick to the old green bean casserole since I don't make it that often.

Zucchini and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2005
I've made this twice. The first time I baked it at 350 and it didn't get crispy enough. The second time, I used less olive oil and bread crumbs and substituted garlic powder. I'll definitely make this again. It tastes great reheated, too.

Burrito Pie

My family loves this recipe. Like most of the reviews advise, I cut back to 1 can of refried beans and 1 lb of meat. (I used ground turkey breast) I also added a package of taco seasoning and almost double the cheese.

Nutty Buddy Pies

Easy to make and delicious. I only filled two store-bought pie shells, though. A friend tried this same recipe and used all three. I guess it depends on how full you like them.
