We love this applesauce. I usually use my own mixture of spice, but this method really can't be beat--it's better than stovetop, somehow! I make this more during warm months than cool ones. My husband's lunchbox apples keep better at room temp during winter than summer, and the slow cooker lets me use up the excess without heating up the house.
