I used country style pork ribs because they were on sale and I bought a family size package for under $6.00. I cut the meat away from bone and some of the fat off before throwing in crock pot with rootbeer. Drained liquid, shredded and added a bottle of bbq sauce. This has got to be one of the easiest, cheapest and best tasting recipes around. Just threw some on hamburger buns with thinly sliced onion and pickles.

Very good and easy to make dish. I thought it needed a little more spice so I added red pepper flakes to my plate but, left everyone elses alone. I was a little worried about the 1 cup wine because it had a really strong smell but, the wine did not overpower like I thought it would.

Made this for dinner last night and I thought it was very good. I followed the advise of others and cut the vinegar back to 1/8 cup, I could see where 1/4 cup would overpower the dish and added some chopped garlic while cooking onions. My picky teenager even said she liked it.

Great dish. Followed advise of others and did not boil scallops. I put fresh scallops in bottom of baking dish then topped with Old bay, fresh garlic, fresh baby spinach, some cooked fettuccini then poured the cream sauce over and topped with the cheese. This is a keeper. Thanks

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. This is a very easy pie to make. I used 2 store bought deep dish pie crust, one for bottom and cut the other one in strips for the top. Thanks for sharing your family recipe.

These were the first thing gone at our party the other night. I didn't wrap the smokies first because I didn't want the toothpicks to be sticky with brown sugar so I put some brown sugar in a baking dish and pressed the bacon down turned over and pressed it down again and stacked in a pile. After I had all the bacon sugar coated I cut it into 3rds then wrapped each smokie then went back and put toothpicks in each one. I put them in the fridge till company go here and then baked them. Someone said use a broiler pan so they are not baking in grease but I used a cooling rack and put it inside my cookie pan so they weren't sitting in grease. Thanks for this recipe I am sure I will make these again and again.

I made these this morning and maybe my baking powder is not good anymore because these were very flat and bland. My husband said he likes the buttermilk pancake mix in a box better. Hope they turn out better for everyone else. Thanks

I didn't feel well so I never ate any but, my husband loved this!!! This was a very easy dish. The next time I think I will add more sausage and some hamburger, it seemed like a lot of pasta for 2 links of sausage.
