About this Cook
I have a husband and 2 kids, 9 and 4 years old. I have quite a time and energy consuming job, but I get relaxed in my home kitchen. I love to cook for my family and my friends: I think cooking for someone is an act of love
My favorite things to cook
I simply love to bake, and my favourite things are cookies, cakes pies and sweet things in general...
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Italian, but I've been in England for a while: I am one of the few fans of English cooking all over the world
My cooking triumphs
some of my desserts are famous...
My cooking tragedies
I am vegetarian, and simply CANNOT cook meat: it's a tragedy when I just try

Paula's Bread Sticks
easier, easier than you think! I used to buy them, never more from now on! my kids got a kick out of it, too, having to model these small ropes from the dough, straight from the bread machine! we put rosemary and onion flakes, they are a comparatively healthy appetizer or snack, better than chips anyway:-)

Spooky Witches Fingers
the biscuits are good, but it would be worth while baking just them for the scary effect! my kids went to a halloween party and they were the starsof the evening! deliciously horrible little treats:-)

Soft Giant Pretzels
first time in my whole life I make pretzels, well, maybe there are even better recipes, but this one seems pretty good to me! the bread machine did pratically everything and my little daughter and me, we had all the fun, making ropes and entwining them to shape the dough. They were baked in no time, and it's been fun too! They were very good with rich soft cheese or Praga ham and pickles. I'm a fan from now on:-)
