About this Cook
I love cooking for my fiance' and our 5 kids (combined!!!)
My favorite things to cook
I love trying out new recipes. Especially casseroles and desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom always made a huge box of Christmas cookies, even though she was a single parent of 6 kids. Now, I, in keeping her tradition alive in my own way, start baking a few weeks before Christmas, and give "boxes" of goodies out as gifts.
My cooking triumphs
I am getting better and better at cooking Oriental dishes.

Lasagna Alfredo Roll Ups
Excellent dish!!!! I made it my own by adding cooked chicken, and substituting broccoli for the spinach. Easier prep was to put the chicken and broccoli in my food processor, pulse a few times, and then add the cheese mixture. Put this in the freezer, (pre baking step), then muy husband took it with him to deer camp, and just heated it through!!! Will make many times!!!!

Super Squash
Great reecipe!!!! On the advice of some other reviewers, I added extra cheese and some bacon!!! Even my future brother-in-law, who is a diehard veggie hater liked this!!!! In fact, my fiance' told him, "Don't tell Mom you ate squash!!!!"
