Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting
About this Cook
Stay at home mom of 2 daughters and wife to a wonderful husband. We are a fun trio - love cooking and adventures.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking - it is a passion - but I am really getting into soup-making which I always avoided. Love indian food and cooking it - but somehow just never tastes as good as restaurant-style.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking around the holidays - and our cookie making parties. Oh and sending off my now famous Raspberry Sherry Trifle to my husbands work Christmas luncheon each year.
My cooking triumphs
Every new recipe is a triumph. I love finding a recipe and making it and having it turn out perfect. Life is too short for lousy recipes! Making baklava was pretty great - no one could believe I made it from scratch... if they only knew it was an allrecipes.com simple recipe.
My cooking tragedies
Choux Pastry in culinary school - it was my nemesis.

Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with Smashed Fall Vegetables
Loved this. I replaced the red wine with beef stock because we find it a bit too acidic when cooking with wine. The dish certainly did not lack any flavor with this substitution! Wonderfully tender meat that was complemented by the earthiness of the vegetables. Excellent dish!

Teriyaki Sauce
This is a great quick recipe that I used to marinade salmon in. Gave the fish a wonderful amber color and really fragrant flavor.

Fudge Brownies I
Excellent! These are almost as easy as making a box mix - literally a few minutes and it was done. I followed another reviewers suggestion and only used 2 eggs, which made these nice and fudgy/chewy. Great stuff!
