About this Cook
I am currently enrolled in college, and hope to complete my Pre-Pharmacy degree within the next 3 years, and then hopefully get accepted into either OU, or SWOSU.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking just about anything, whether it be casseroles or something a fancier.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My little one isn't quite old enough to help cook yet, and I don't really remember any cooking traditions that I did with my mom.
My cooking triumphs
No real triumphs yet, but I haven't really tried cooking anything to difficult.
My cooking tragedies
Right before my husband and I got married I thought that I would make him a meatloaf, because he was always saying how he liked it and everything. Well I had never made one before and so I came to this site looking for a recipe, well the one I made was horrible, he barely took 1 bite. Another tragedy happened just recently, I deep fried some chicken nuggets and cheese bites for my little one and forgot to turn off the stove. Needless to say 10 minutes into the Veggietales movie we were watching I heard a loud pop and we to see what it was and the stove was on fire, luckily a fire extinguisher was nearby and I got the flame out, but not before the apartment was filled with smoke and the smoke alarm went off. :)

Bob's Awesome Lasagna
Very good, while I was making this with the help of my 5 year old, she was saying how she didn't want any because she didn't like it, but after it was done, I had her try one bite, and after her normal, I don't want any I'm not hungry routine she asked for a plate of it after she realized how good it was. I didn't make any changes to the ingredients, but I didn't cook my noodles, just soaked in hot water while everything else was cooking, so as to not dirty another dish, I used my 13x9 pan to soak them in.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken
Excellent recipe. I finally found a chicken recipe that my husband likes, and I have tried out quite a few in the past 3 years. I have had problems with chicken coming out dry and tough, but with this recipe the chicken was very moist and tender. Definately a keeper.

Italian Love Cake
I have made this 2 times so far and both times it has turned out great. When I went shopping for the ingredients the first time I didn't read my list very well and I only bought 1 15oz container of ricotta cheese and didn't have time to go back to the store so I used what I had, I made it the same way the second time and I received nothing but excellent reviews from everyone who tried it, although when some people heard that there was ricotta cheese in it they were a little leary to try it, but when they did, they really liked it.
