My Future Chef
About this Cook
I'm currently a mother of two girls and work part-time in the Real Estate industry. My husband owns his own business and works very long hours. The meals I prepare have to be quick, economical and healthy (not to mention appealing enough for two small children to eat!). I often make out monthly menus using recipes from webistes like this one and from magazine clippings. I then go to the grocery store for one large trip each month using a grocery list that I compile from the recipes. It helps simplify my life and eleviate some of the stress that accumulates from having the responsibility of cooking for my family.
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to bake anything!! I am most "famous" for my cheesecakes and creative cupcakes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My most vivid family cooking memory is having a fish and seafood feast on Christmas Eve with my family. I also fondly remember sitting in my Granny's kitchen watching her make her Czech strudel.
My cooking triumphs
Learning to make jam and jelly and "can"...like my grandmas did!
My cooking tragedies
NONE...I don't see them as tragedies, just experiences to learn from.

Garlic Bread Fantastique
This is awesome! I added some onions sauteed in butter and chredded mozzarella cheese to it. My in-laws devoured it!
