French Toast Bake
I made this for New's Years Day brunch. I followed the recipe to a tee and it was outstanding. My company just kept getting more and more until it was finished. Because of the many reviews with consistency problems, I was a bit concerned. However, I have come to the conclusion that it is all in the type of bread you choose to make it with. Mine was a crusty french bread and it was almost perfect, a tad dry on the outer edges. I think next time I will use a softer crust bread and cut it into pieces to promote even soaking of the liquid. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
