I started using allrecipes.com about 5 years ago after I graduated from college. It is now my go-to site whenever I need a recipe! I learned to bake from my mom who grew up in a family of 14. I love to bake, and I especially enjoy making wedding cakes. I used to decorate cakes for a bakery in college, and when I got engaged in 2007, decided to make my own! Now I make wedding cakes for friends and family, and anyone else who asks :) I am more of a baker than a cook, and enjoy baking all kinds of cookies and cakes. I enjoy Italian and Asian foods as well. I loved licking the bowl of caramel frosting for my mom's chocolate cake. My dad I and had to fight for it :) My first wedding cake - my own! Oh, I've had plenty. Fortunately, I've always caught them before someone else got to taste it!
