About this Cook
Hi I'm a working mom and married and also have a 10 ,9 and 5 year old Also fascinated with international cuisine, always like to bring some thing new to the table from different cultures. I've alway's loved cooking , but my true passion is baking. There is nothing more fulfilling then working your hands into dough, then seeing your children eating and enjoying what you made with your bare hands, “Wait” then hearing them say mom I really want to cook like you when I grow up. awww that so sweet...
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pasta .... bake from brownies to a tiramisu , really have to say that in my house it's a fight between rice and pasta my husband and my son love there rice, but me and my girls love our pasta usually the men win!
My favorite family cooking traditions
my mom is an ok cook, but a very good baker . For the question of cooking traditions.I would have to say my favorite is cooking for my family on holiday's ,especially our dessert table wow do we bake enough to feed an army.
My cooking triumphs
learning how to make an awesome pizza crust ,Just like the one in the pizza shops. a little tip use a pizza stone your pizza will be nice and crunchy.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to make caramel swirls for a cheese cake. Man does that hurt! when touched by a human finger!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
The best apple pie recipe by far!!!!! The only change I made were adding vanilla to the sauce and sprinkling cinnamon on the apples. A must keep.

Pie Crust IV
Oh my, this is a great pie crust recipe, very flaky and full of flavor With minor adjustments of course. One being I added 2 Tab of sugar As suggested by another reviewer. I WAS CAREFUL in adding the water To be honest I used about 2 table spoons less of the water. I made an apple pie and let me just tell you me and my family of five just wanted to eat the crust!!!!! Remember to treat doug gently

Sweet Potato Pie I
This recipe deserves more than 5 stars. I am not very faun of sweet potato pie But for our church bake sale it’s a requested item for the holiday, so I went in search for a great recipe so I Went into my test kitchen and fell in love with this recipe, truly a great pie. I read a lot of the reviews and made some minor adjustments. I used caned sweet potatoes (just as good as the real deal) it was a 29 oz. can (1Ib 13 oz.) As other reviewer suggested on previous reviews I added 1 tab of shifted flour to the batter and let me tell you, the pie was silky soft and just plan perfect!
