Shrimp Scampi Bake

Absolutely delicious!! I followed the recipe exactly except I had to use dry parsley because I did not have fresh and I didn't cook the shrimp nearly as long. My shrimp were done in about nine minutes. Served with alfredo noodles.

The Best Banana Pudding

Goof but not great. DH likes the cooked version better. I like uncooked better. I thought this was too sweet. Most of this never got eaten.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Fair. This just didn't do it for us. The beef did not seem to be tender and I expected a more distinct taste from the dip. Doubt this will be on our table again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

We really loved this recipe though I did do a couple of things differently. I cooked chicken breasts in my pressure cooker and shredded the meat. I then used the broth left in the pressure cooker to add to the sauce. I added corn and left out the celery since we don't really care for it. I was out of poultry seasoning so I just added some sage and savory instead. Had to make it twice in one week my family liked it so much.

Honey Mustard Sauce

My kids love this recipe. My daughter makes it any time the kids want chicken nuggets. My youngest told his grandmama that he only eats chicken nuggets when his sister makes the honey mustard!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Yum! Had some very ripe bananas that needed to be used so I tried this recipe. Did not have a muffin tin at my fiance's house so I baked it in a round cake pan for 30 minutes. Came out very well although I do think I overcooked it just a bit. I did add vanilla but other than that I followed the recipe as written. Will definitely make them again.

Hamburger Cheese Bake

We really liked this and I would have given 5 stars but I made several modifications one by accident and some on purpose- didn't have green pepper,took other reviewer's advice for more sauce and added 26 oz. tomato sauce, accidentally added a 16 oz. cottage cheese instead of 8oz. I also mixed everything together based on another reviewer's suggestion. I don't think that was a good idea as the noodles that were not covered with sauce were a little dry. Next time I will make the layers. Overall a good, quick meal that I will make again!

Chicken Enchiladas II

We loved these. My son was upset that there were no leftovers the next day when he got home from school. I followed the recipe except that we used a mexican cheese blend. These were fairly quick to make probably because I used a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. Going to try making the filling the night before so things can be even quicker on a busy weekday.

Herb-Crusted Chuck Roast

Wow! This was great! I followed the recipe exactly except that I didn't have fresh garlic and had to use garlic powder. Used a meat thermometer to make sure it was medium rare. It was perfectly cooked in one and a half hours. Good sliced for a sandwich the next day. This will be a regular for us since it is a great way to cook a less expensive cut of meat.

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Good recipe. I added more mayo and curry powder otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Be aware that this recipe makes a fairly large amount. As I am the only one in my house that ate it, I ended up throwing some away. Next time I will halve the recipe.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Shepherd's pie just not my favorite.Like the ingredients just not together. We used green beans in this too along with the carrots. I am sure that for someone who likes Shepherd's pie would like this fine. My kids thought it was good and ate the leftovers too but I probably won't make again.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

This is a great meatloaf recipe! I did not cook it in a loaf pan as I do not like to have my meatloaf sit in it's own grease. I shaped it and cooked it in a 13X9 pan. Everyone loved it.

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

To be fair I know that I over cooked the potatoes and that they were soft in this recipe but we thought this was not a great recipe. The mixture tasted good before I added the potatoes. After baking we just did not care for it.

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

I really like this salad. I did a couple of different things. I used plain rather than tricolor pasta and I used grape tomatoes. The tomatoes were easier for my children to pick around that way. Several people mentioned that the salad seemed drier the next day. If you add a dash or two of milk and stir well before serving that will loosen it up. Much better than what's in the box! Update! I now use the tricolor pasta and add some green onion too! Love it!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

My fiance' is a huge fan of this cake. I use drained crushed pineapple because he likes the pineapple in every bite. I also use yellow cake mix sometimes if that is what I have on hand.

Pork Chops to Live For

Great pork chops with a yummy sauce. I did not dip in egg and flour. I did brown the chops before putting them in the slow cooker. The pork chops were very tender and the sauce was great on the rice.
