I like to cook when I have the time. Love to do crock pot dinners or cook on weekends to have leftovers for the following week. I love to bake cookies and bars, but hate making pies. I'm not Norwegian but live in Minnesota where there are a lot of Norwegians. So I love making and eating Lefse. Occasionally I come up with a good dish based on ingredients on hand, but usually I like to stick to recipes to make sure it will turn out good! I once made an apple pie and failed to remove the apple peel first. The recipe didn't explicitly say to peel the apples, and I need specifics!
