I have three very young children (4yrs and younger), and a husband I am very much in love with! I work outside of the home 2 days a week (for my sanity). I enjoy and think it is also very important to be the main influence in raising our children. Homey, comfort food. Chicken and noodles, Lasagna, Roast and veggies. Etc. I prefer recipes that don't require too much time, but have the taste and look of long hours!! The only tradition that really comes to mind is a red velvet cake that we make for every birthday in our family...as done by my great grandmother on down. It is from scratch and takes about 2hrs start to finish. But worth it!
