My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandmothers Strawberry Cake. Before she passed there was not a written recipe. So after she passed, each member of the family attempted to duplicate the famous cake.
My cooking triumphs
I successfully duplicated the recipe this year, 2008. Now, I'm the person responsible for making the cake each Christmas.

Southern Comfort Sweet Potatoes
My family loooooves this recipe and I made it for a office party. Co-workers were expecting to be lit afterwards but that's okay!! It was a hit. This year I will be cutting back on the liquor. I'll half it.
