I was looking for a change to my waffle recipe. I am so glad that came to this site and found this recipe. My kids and I both love this recipe. I stirred the batter as I as pouring in the butter in. I had no problems with this recipe. For a family of five you will need to double it.

This recipe turned out really good. Like most, I doubled the spices. I had a double batch cooking and it took longer to cook. I stirred the seeds about every 15 minutes until they were nice and golden brown.

I like trying new recipes. I personally did not like this recipe, but my husband did. If I were going to try this again I would only put in half as much pecans as called for ( 1/2 cup is to much).
