Apple Crisp II
Shame on me for only making a half recipe! I could have eaten an entire 13x9 of this! I always pay attention to the reviews so, like many others, I cut back on the water, added a dash of nutmeg to the apples, and (what the heck) doubled the topping. I've always thought of crisps and cobblers as humble weeknight desserts...but I'd be proud to serve this one to company. I'm sure it would do just as beautifully with other fruits, too. This is THE recipe for apple crisp!
