My favorite things to cook
I love to cook and eat PASTA! Thank God my husband likes pasta as much as I do. We love any pasta, with any sauce. I am trying to start using whole wheat pasta, but the family is a little resistant. So I'll just sneak it in.;-)

Spinach Shrimp Fettuccine
I love this recipe! It is quick and easy and delicious! I agree that it is a good base for you to change to suit your palette. As other reviewers noted: It is a thin sauce. So I use canned tomatoes with the juice. The sauce is still a lil thin for me... So I then add a small amout of water or canned tomato sauce or a lil bit of both. I added onions, more garlic and a pinch of sugar (sometimes I don't add the sugar). And I tried the recipe with mozzarell cheese. Family loves it!

Garlic Shrimp and Pasta
Good dish! It was not what I was looking for, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lemon was a lil strong for me, so I added 1 tbsp sugar at end. I followed other suggestions and did the following. I sauteed 4 cloves garlic, minced onion, shrimp and veegie mix in butter. Removed from pan, added sauce ingredients. After it thickened, I returned shrimp mix to pan. Also, added more salt in the end. Will decrease lemon juice next time.
