Overnight Pancakes

These are good, but my kids didn't really like them. I'm pretty sure they just are not used to this slightly diffent taste. I thought they were ok. They are better with some strawberry jam on them instead of regular pancake syrup. Give them a try, you may enjoy this different pancake!

French Onion Soup II

We have a traditional Polish American dinner on Christmas eve and the start to the meal is French Onion Soup. I've tried different recipes through the years, but they haven't been well recieved especially by my daughter who is now 10. This year we had my sister and BIL and their 3 kids for dinner and this soup was a BIG hit. The kids loved it which was good because the rest of the meal was fish and that wasn't the kids favorite. I was glad I made a big huge pot of this soup! These are the changes that I made: I sauted the onions in butter and I used an equal amount of beef broth to beef bullion, only because my hubby did the shopping and didn't get enough cans of beef broth. Because I made a large pot of this we didn't use bread but we used seasoned croutons, with shredded swiss cheese top, for the ease of serving. I made the soup early and put it in the crockpot on low, because my husband is always busy cooking the fish and the last thing we need to to be making soup while he is trying to cook the numberous fish dishes and the peirogies! I will make this again and again, my daughter LOVES it so it will be a staple in our house throughout the winter months!

All American Apple Pie

Pretty good. I did have problems with the topping, but the rest of the pie was very tasty, and it was pretty basic and easy to make...even for me who has made very few pies in my time.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Maybe I did something wrong. The glaze burned up in the oven (even with me basting it) and stunk up the whole house. It didn't turn out tasty or juicy as I had hoped.

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

The pork turned out juicy and delicious. The Mustard sauce really didn't do it for me, I made it but we didn't really like it with the tenderloin.

Italian Zucchini Saute

Made this with zucchini that a friend gave me and myself and my whole family really enjoyed it. I did forget to seed the zucchini,(my cooking skills are extremely rusty) but no one seem to care...Delicious, tasty and most important fast and easy.

Baked Ziti II

This is a delicious recipe, sure to please all. I served this at my son's second birthday party, and my guest ate it up and enjoyed it very, very much. This is a delicious, simple way to feed a moderate number of people.

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie III

This is such a great recipe!! My Mom loves Strawberry Rhubarb pie so I made it for Mother's day. She LOVED IT. There was enough filling for two pies!!!
