Baked Pork Chops I

Outstanding recipe! These pork chops came out so tender and very flavorful. I was so impressed with the fact that the breading held right to the pork chops and didn't become soggy. I didn't have any white wine so I replaced it with chicken broth instead. I also added some carmelized onions into the gravy and it was delicious!

Garden Pasta Salad

Awesome!! I cut this recipe in half since there's just 4 of us. Due to personal tastes I left out the celery and parmesan cheese. I used red onions for extra taste. To be different, I used orange peppers instead of green. To cut fat, I used fat free house italian dressing. I will be making this more often!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Wow ~ what a great chicken this turned out to be last night! Even though there wasn't anything *sticky* about it ~ the flavoring was amazing. I didn't refrigerate overnight like the directions state. Instead, I just seasoned the chicken folling the directions and placed it right in the oven ~ I cooked it higher too ~ at 350 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours. The meat was so tender and full of flavor.

This turned out pretty good. Like others brought up, it was really liquidy. I didn't even add any water and there were still lots of juices. I added mushrooms and a can of garlic onion petite cut diced tomatoes to mine. We served our in tortillas and the juices were great to sop up with the tortilla.

Baby Burgers on Baguettes

What a fun way to eat burgers! As soon as I saw this recipe, it reminded me of the *Bar Burgers* they serve at Dave and Busters. Except they use Hawaiian Rolls. So, for dinner tonight, we fixed Baby Burgers and they were EXTRA good! It all goes back to that saying we all know ~ *good things come in small packages*! Plus, these are super kid friendly! Thanks so much, Bridge, for bringing some fun to our Friday Night Dinner! :o)

Cheesy Creamed Spinach Casserole

This just didn't taste like I had hoped. Our thoughts on this recipe were split down the middle ~ 2 liked it okay and 2 didn't at all. Something was quite *potent* and overpowering in flavor ~ kinda got the back of our cheeks with a tingle. Ya know that feeling?! LOL! Little too sour, I suppose. I doubt I will make this again but I'm glad I tried it. Thanks anyway! :o)

Sweet and Gooey Chicken Wings

These were very good ~ I did make a few changes, though ~ Instead of soy sauce I used Teriyaki sauce and instead of garlic powder, I used minced garlic cloves. Thanks for such a wonderful and easy recipe!

Savory Crescent Chicken

These were super-de-duper! I cooked 3 boneless breasts in my crockpot and then tossed them into the food processer and the consistency was perfect. Instead of topping with croutons, I used crushed Ritz crackers. Wonderful!

Mexican Rice II

This is just about how my Mexican mother in law makes her rice ~ and now, my husband makes it too. We don't add onions, though. Not all the time do we use chicken broth either. Water works just as good.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Everyone loved these. I made a few changes to the recipe, though ~ left out the soy sauce and used Teriyaki sauce instead (1/4 cup), added several squirts of honey and lemon juice. Cooked on low for 5 hours and they were perfect.

Fabulous Fajitas

These were outstanding. I didn't change a thing except for the fact that I tossed in some olive oil when I added the Italian seasoning. I thought it needed something so it wouldn't be dry. I'll be making these often!

The Supreme Shepherd's Pie

Outstanding! I fixed this tonight using leftover roast beef from last night's dinner. I sauteed red onions, mushrooms and garlic ~ then I placed them over the meat and poured mushroom gravy over the top. Followed by the mashed potatoes. I left the dish covered with foil during the first 30 minutes of cooking. I took the foil off for the last 30 minutes. I'll be making this over and over again!
