Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Got lots of good reviews on this one. Used a double dutch dark chocolate cocoa powder for it which made the batter very rich and dark. It was a little sweet for my taste, but that must just be me because everyone else seemed to think they were awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I thought these were just OK. I replaced the nuts with white chocolate chips. Recipe's OK, but I probably won't make them again. Thanks for sharing the recipe, though.

Kris' Lentil Sausage Soup

This recipe was full of flavor, hearty, and just right for a cold wintry night! Thanks for sharing, Kris. For those who think there's not enough flavor, try using a smokier polska kielbasa -- I happened to have gotten ahold of some wedding kielbasy from www.andysdeli.com and it released a LOT of flavor into the soup. I rarely give 5 stars to any recipe, but this one is outstanding!

Honey Banana Muffins

I didn't have applesauce on hand so I added a little vegetable oil instead. Pretty good muffins and reasonably healthful (would have been more so if I had had the applesauce on hand!). I will do this recipe again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Didn't change a thing; came out great. Husband and step-kids loved it over some egg noodles. Good comfort food, easiest thing to prepare, and good for the budget too at about $8 for a double recipe.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Due to the amount of oregano, this tastes a little less like chili and a little more like spaghetti sauce. Next time I'll reverse the quantities so there's more chili powder and less oregano. That being said, this is a flavorful tasty dish. Will make again. Thanks for sharing it.

Smothered Bacon Chicken

Husband went crazy over the sauce. Only change I made was I pre-cooked the bacon to about 75% doneness before I baked the dish so I would be sure to have fully cooked bacon in the dish.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup III

Very bland -- I could tell from the recipe it would be bland, and even added spices to make it less so, but to no avail. I had the same problem as another reviewer with there not being enough liquid. The rice expanded so much that I had to transfer half the soup to another crock pot, which was a big mess. My step-daughter liked it, but it made so much (about a gallon), I don't think she's going to be able to eat it quickly enough and I expect I'll have to throw out half of it -- waste of good chicken breast, potatoes, and wild rice. Won't make it again.

Fifteen Minute Chicken Chili

For the time spent on this recipe, it's pretty good. I changed out the plain diced tomatoes for Hunt's fire-roasted garlic, added some salt, and in addition to the one can each dark red kidney beans I added a can of rinsed black beans. I mashed some of the black beans with a fork before adding so as to thicken the chili. I also just used pre-cooked chicken I had on hand and that worked fine. Easy, tasty, healthy recipe. Will make again. Thanks!

Michael's Foccacia Bread

I thought this was a great basic recipe. For the topping, I only used about a teaspoon of salt instead of the whole tablespoon. I skipped the onions, but you could easily and tastily slice some thin red onion to put on the top and I am sure that would be delightful. Thanks for the recipe.
