About this Cook
I'm a mom to two beautiful kids (5yrs and 9 months old), a wife, and a full time receptionist.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook quick healthy foods. My favorite to cook is lasagna (my husband loves it!) and any new recipe that has caught my fancy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I will always have fond memories of my grandma cooking for the holidays. Her cooking is hard to live up to!
My cooking triumphs
Mastering lasagna, not being afraid to try new recipies.
My cooking tragedies
Too numerous to count but I keep trying! :-)

Bacon Wrapped Chicken
I'm glad I read the reviews! This recipie had some fine tuning done to it from all the suggestions. I did cook the bacon first and crumble it. I also browned the chicken first but I hadn't flattened them enough so I couldn't get them to roll so it ended up being more of a casserole than chicken rolls. Next time I think I will skip the browning and flatten more! I also substituted monteray jack for cream cheese and I'm glad I did! The sauce was kinda rich but it had good flavor. I added 1/8 tsp of garlic powder to the sauce. Everyone loved it except my 4yr who is the pickiest eater I've ever seen. This is definately something to be used with company and it turned out to be a little more involved than I thought it would but it turned out wonderfully and the whole family helped. I will definately cook this again!

Herbed Green Bean Casserole
I tried making this recipe for Thanksgiving dinner and no one really liked it. I would definately go with some of the other suggestions of more green beans and less breadcrumbs. Also the parmesan was a little strong too. It definately has potential.
