Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This recipe is really delicious. I modified the recipe, as follows, to tighten up the filling: I cooked the apples on the stovetop with 1/2 cup sugar for 15 minutes so they would release some of their water content. Then I made the recipe as written, substituting 1/4 cup of the apples' released juice for the water in the filling. It tastes great and isn't runny.
