Coconut Macaroons III
I made "Almond Joy" macaroons using this recipe by adding 1/3 cup finely chopped almonds and mini chocolate chips. I followed other raters' suggestion to finely grind the coconut in the food processor, which is key.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This recipe is really delicious. I modified the recipe, as follows, to tighten up the filling: I cooked the apples on the stovetop with 1/2 cup sugar for 15 minutes so they would release some of their water content. Then I made the recipe as written, substituting 1/4 cup of the apples' released juice for the water in the filling. It tastes great and isn't runny.

Marshmallow Treats
I use stick margarine instead of butter, and add 1/2 tsp of vanilla and 2 tbls corn syrup to the marshmallows. After I add the cereal and take it off the stove, I add 1 cup of large marshmallows cut into quarters. They look and taste awesome!
