Tomato Pork Loin Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
My only changes for this recipe was to only use 1/4 tsp. of the red pepper flakes and add a crushed garlic clove. The sauce thickened up a little too much so I added 1/4 cup of chicken broth near the end to make sure it had enough moisture to simmer. Taste was good!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Would've been 5 stars but they were way too salty. I tried the recipe as it was written as suggested by some but for my family it needed way less salt and a couple more teaspoons of sugar. Whoever initially suggested vanilla had a nice addition.

This is the best! I leave out the veggies but a definite keeper. Depending on my mood sometimes I'll add a bit of dill which blends nicely with the other flavors.

I don't know if I'd say world's best but definitely good. Red sauce is a bit sweet but still pretty good.

Brandy Slush II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2004
If you are not a apricot brandy fan this stuff is awesome if you replace the brandy w/desired amt of vodka. If you don't have time to wait on the tea bags, instant can be used. Best if made the night before so it can fully chill/freeze.

Very good recipe that was much easier than I had originally anticipated! Not quite mall pretzels, but definitely worth making again!!

Freak'n Good Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2004
I tried this with country style pork ribs and it turned out awesome!! My only suggestion for really tender ribs is to grill (or smoke) them 1st w/BBQ sauce and then bake them in the oven in the original marinade at 250 degrees for 3 or 4 hours. The meat will be so tender it will literally fall off the bone! (Marinate the ribs and then reverse the rest of this recipe and double the oven cooking time.)

AWESOME! My husband thought sloppy joes were bland and boring before I found this recipe. Now it's one of his favorite dinners! He even eats the left overs for luch the next day which he never used to do! :)
