I made this recipie for my mom's birthday cake and added 1/2 c chopped pecans, 1/2 t almond extract, and 1/4 t rum extract. For the frosting I made chocolate ganache by blending 2 1/4 cups choco chips, 1 pkg (~12oz) extra firm silken tofu (slice into slammer pieces), 1 1/2 t vanilla extract, and a splash of alomond milk. The tofu will shred at first in the mixer but eventually will mash out into a very delicious and thick frosting. I used the choco ganache along with 2 sliced bananas as filling.
