Twice-Cooked Coconut Shrimp

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Finally got a chance to make this last night and it was wonderful! Only had white corn meal and made them as muffins but they were great! Next time though, I am going to cut down on the sugar because it was a little too sweet.

First time making this. So easy and so good, although my fry bread was not too pretty. Also misread the instructions and added water instead of milk to the batter. Still tasted great!

This recipe brings a smile to my face. Mom used to make these for us when we were growing up. I love them! Ketchup or mustard to serve with or both mixed together. Thanks for bringing back some memories:)
