About this Cook
I love to cook, but I am very busy. I am in college right now on my way to becoming a Birth-Kindergarten education teacher, I am a house wife and just gave birth to my first child, a daughter the 12 of June. Did I mention that it takes me 80 minutes one way to get to college? I do almost all of the cooking and cleaning. So as you can see, I am very busy and this website helps out a lot! Half the time I don't know what's for dinner until I come to this website!:)
My favorite things to cook
I love sweets but my husband does not. I like to cook just about everything. I like to try new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a couple of them. One of them my husband and I started. Every year for Christmas we bake and decorate a birthday cake for Jesus:) The second one would be my Mom and I baking for our church fellowship dinners!:) My Mom and I will be baking all weekend long! 98% of what I make, the recipes come from this website:)
My cooking triumphs
Making anything that my husband will eat without complaining. He is such a picky eater!
My cooking tragedies
Tragedies? What tragedies..who told?!

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy
Wonderful!! I did not have any poultry seasoning so I used Lawrys seasoning salt instead. I have never made gravy with chicken broth before and it was really good. Thanks for sharing!!

Delicious Ahi Fish Burgers with Chives
My family and I enjoyed these. They did not have Ahi at the store so I had to buy tilapia instead. I forgot to add the carrot, only used one egg, had no chives so I had to use green onions, I did add in some chopped fresh cilantro. Well, I took the advice of another reviewer and sauted the onion and two cloves of garlic in olive oil. I also made a sauce recommended by the reviewer with mayo, worcesterhire sauce and lime juice. Great recipe and will make again!! Thanks for sharing.
