Basil Tomato Soup
It had never occurred to me, before this, to make tomato soup from scratch, but after trying this I will never eat it from a can again! Delicious winter recipe.
My 5-star review was based on the following modifications:
- I sauteed 1/4 of a white onion and 6 cloves of garlic in 1/4 of a cup of butter. I then ommitted the butter from the last step.
- I halfed the cream and still found it plenty rich.
I served this sandwich with grilled cheese, bacon and tomato sandwiches. My husband was very pleased. I will make this again, for sure.
