Fiber One® Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2012
VERY YUMMY! This recipe was easy to make and took such little time. If you're a fan of semi-sweet chocolate and peanut butter, you will surely be pleased. I used an ice cream scoop and made them larger so I could top them with an Easter Peep. These are a 5 star yum in my book!

Sugarless Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
YUMMY & EASY! I used half the pudding as I only had 1 cup of rice. What a wonderful way to use left-over rice. It took no time to make. Thank you Ruth Hannan for sharing your recipe!

INCREDIBLE Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! I love the "hit" of raspberry in this delicious cookie. I also discovered I am married to a cookie monster! This cookie not only tastes good, it is pretty to look at. As I could never find the raspberry chips, I decided to make my own. I used 2/3 cup white chocolate, 1/4 tsp. raspberry extract, red food coloring and a little shortening. I piped the morsels using a zip lock bag onto parchment paper. A few minutes in the refrigerator and they were good to go. The cookies were so easy to make. I found baking 12 minutes worked for me. (note to self for next time). Thank you mis7up for such an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE cookie!

All Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
DELICIOUS! I had about 2 1/2 lbs. of apples that were starting to get soft spots so I was happy to find this recipe. I cut the recipe in half and it took about 7 hours to cook. I did the spoonful on a saucer test to tell when it was done. This tastes awesome when spread on cinnamon raisin toast. Thank you Terri for sharing your DELICIOUS recipe!

Beginner Chicken and Dumplings

A WINNER! I used chicken thighs only and added potatoes and carrots. I also skipped the soup and used my own broth and gravy. I seasoned with some parsley and marjoram. It was a WINNER for us! Thank you heatherg for sharing!

Great recipe! I cut the potatoes into chunks instead of slices and used vegetable oil in place of butter. SO GOOD!

Peanut Butter Pudding Pops

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
VERY GOOD! This is a peanut butter lovers delight, a very rich and creamy treat. The only change I made was to use 2% milk in place of whole milk. I had a hard time unmolding them, so my suggestion would be to use cups that you could tear away in place of molds. Thank you Heidi Lynn for your recipe!

Awesome Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2012
EXCELLENT! This was my first time making egg rolls. I used packaged coleslaw mix for the cabbage and carrots and a can of bean sprouts. It made 18 egg rolls, which a portion of them I froze. They were "Oh so good"! The egg rolls went perfectly with the Homemade Wonton Soup recipe from this site. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thank you ROUVER for sharing!

Acorn Candy Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
YUMMY! I used Nutter Butter Bites in place of vanilla wafer cookies and Reese's Peanut Butter Chips in place of the butterscotch chips. To attach I melted some of each candy and dipped into it so it wouldn't show where it was attached. They were YUMMY! My reason for the change is that I was looking for something peanut butter for my step-father. This recipe is going to make him so happy. The hardest part is keeping Hubby away from them. I know I have to make more! Thanks WFDM for another YUMMY recipe!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2011
AWESOME! This is a fabulous recipe for left over chicken or turkey. Hubby is a big fan of rice so this was a real hit with him, as well as myself. The changes I made were to use whole milk, homemade chicken stock, and a larger 6.2oz. pkg. of wild rice with seasoning. (It was what I had on hand). This is definitely going into my cookbook. Thank you Stephanie G for sharing such an AWESOME recipe!

Jumbo Dark Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
My new FAVORITE! I followed this recipe exactly but I will say I hestitated a couple of times. I tasted the batter and it did taste too salty but not after it was baked. Also, I hesitated to make them with a quarter cup measure. I thought surely they would be too big. Wrong again. Perfect! I am a chocoholic and I loved these!! I am going to make these again and add peanut butter chips, and another batch with mint chips. They are a nice size cookie to wrap for a bake sale. This recipe is going to get a lot of use at my house. Thanks Nestle Toll House!

Roll-Out Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
GREAT TASTE! I had a difficult time rolling this dough. After an hour of trying and only completing a half dozen cookies, I gave up and rolled the dough into little balls, flattened, and dipped them in cinnamon/sugar as I knew I wouldn't be making the frosting. I must say that after baking these were very tasty and worthy of five stars! Thank you Bonnie Price for sharing your recipe!

Traditional Lemon Meringue Pie

FANTASTIC! We absolutely loved this pie! It was easy to make; the hardest part was waiting the 3 hours for it to chill. Next time, I will increase the meringue, (although it is not necessary), so I can have a "higher" pie. Thank you Argo for such a FANTASTIC recipe!

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
Very quick and easy! I was looking for something new to do with left-over chicken. Although the pie was good, we prefer a rolled dough crust over a baking mix crust; also, I would add seasonings. Thank you Campbell's Kitchen for a very quick and easy recipe!

Very tasty and flavorful! The only change I made was to leave out the raisins as we don't care for them in our oatmeal cookies. We love the spiciness of this recipe. Thank you Beth Sigworth for sharing your tasty and flavorful recipe!!

VERY GOOD! I followed the recipe exactly without any changes. Next time, however, I will grease the pan better as my loaf stuck; or perhaps I will make muffins so I don't have to deal with it. Whatever, there will be a next time! I loved the crunchy crust and the addition of walnuts. Thank you vjonsson for sharing this VERY GOOD recipe!

Snow Day French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
This recipe sounded like it would be so yummy, but I'm sorry to say it was not to our liking. The only change I made was to add cinnamon to the sugar. I used English muffins as suggested, but they were too soggy and hard to keep from falling apart. I really wish we could have enjoyed it. Thanks Laura Owen for sharing your recipe!
