Penne and Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I enjoyed this recipe. Like others, though, I thought there was no need for heavy cream. Half and half works just as well. I added onion and garlic to the pancetta for extra flavor. Even the kids love this one!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
These were really yummy and so much better than processed nuggets. I used plain yogurt in place of the butter and they turned out great. Next time, I might leave them in the yogurt longer to tenderize, but they were tender as is. Thanks for a great recipe.

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
Love this recipe. We like to use a pizza crust from the refrig dough section and make it on the grill. Just spray one side with olive oil Pam, put on grill for 3-5 minutes, turn and place toppings on crust. Grill for another 3-5 min or until cheese is melted. The smoked gouda makes this recipe, IMO. Yum!

Berry Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I used this recipe as a base, but I guess I ought to submit my own, since it hardly resembled the original. Instead of pound cake, I used vanilla cake mix (didn't take all of both layers). I also used 2 boxes of cheesecake pudding, mixed with 1 3/4 C milk and folded in fresh whipped cream (with a bit of sugar and vanilla). Like others, I also used fresh berries and layered it instead of dumping it all on top. You really can't mess up this type of trifle. Yum!

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
Very good burger! Like others, I omitted the olives (not a fan) and substituted roasted red peppers, which added a nice color and flavor. I added a bit of olive oil to the meat as I used the leanest turkey. Also added some fresh basil from the garden. It was very tasty, even my 2yo loved it. No bun needed. Will make again..

Chutney Baked Brie

This is a fabulous and super-easy appetizer for guests. I served it with wheat thin crackers and it was very yummy. Even those who don't like curry rave about it.

Chicken-Prosciutto Bundles

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2005
I loooove this recipe! You can also put the prosciutto inside, if the breasts are large enough. Be careful to have the deli slice the prosciutto thinly--if it's too thick, the dish can be very salty. I use fresh mozzarella too.

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers

Reviewed: May 16, 2005
Yummy! I tried this for the first time for a dinner party and got lots of compliments. I had to use one oblong ramekin and this one cooked more than the round ones so didn't have the liquid center, but was still delicious. I cooked for 10 minutes and the others were perfect. Impressive, super-easy dessert!
