i am 13. i grew up as an only child to a single mom for 6 years. my moms specialties are spagetti, spagetti, and spagetti. in other words she hates cooking but my grandma on the other hand should be a chef she just creates edible art effortlessly and i wish to become as good a cook as her.
My favorite things to cook
i am a baker and a everything elser. i babysit often and love cooking simple recipes with kids.my thing is i cook for me if i think it sounds gross there is no way i'm doin it. i love chocolate, chicken, and anything with cheese.
My favorite family cooking traditions
my favorite family cooking traditions are most likely any pastrie of my grandma's and her crepes i could live off of only those crepes. i also am in love with meatloaf made by my grandpa as well as his buttermilk pancakes. yummmmmm.
My cooking triumphs
i managed to make a homemade pizza to feed a family of 5 with the help of a 3 and 5 year old who only wanted to taste. i also accomplished some absolutely delicious apple crisp.
My cooking tragedies
my first attempt at cake was to put it lightly...HORRENDOUS. i have zero i dea what i did wrong but i ended up on my knees cleaning out an oven that was coverd in cake batter that had overflowed. however the half done cake batter -that i whisked out of the oven as soon as i noticed it over flowing- tasted great over vannilla ice cream.
