Four Egg Yellow Cake
This was pretty disappointing. I did all the right things: I substituted butter for the crisco, I beat the heck out of the butter and sugar, and I added the eggs one at a time. The cake was very dense and maybe even a little oily. I have to say, though I didn't want to, this definitely reminded me of corn bread. I gave it two stars because it IS edible, but I won't be making this again.

Scones
These are tasty, but not scones in MY opinion. I'm pretty picky about mine, I like them a little drier and denser. My first thought when I bit into these was "biscuit." They even had that strange Bisquick-y taste. BUT they still taste okay. I'll enjoy them, just keep looking for another scone recipe...

Cracked Sugar Cookies I
These taste very good! My only problem is that the day after they were quite hard. I'm still eating them, they taste good. I just wish they were as "chewy" as others say they are. Perhaps I did something wrong? I'd like to know, so that I can make them again. :)
