I've just moved into my very own house with my very own kitchen with my wonderful fiance. I'm a nurse, so my free time is a little limited but I want to learn how to cook wonderful meals that he and I can share. I've got parents that can make some of the most amazing dishes, and I'd love to be able to do the same on my own some day.

I'm still figuring this out, but I love baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom always makes special foods for Thanksgiving and Christmas that she doesn't make any other time of the year. I look forward to these foods on a regular basis.
My cooking triumphs
I mastered my very first cheesecake from scratch last year with the help of my wonderful Mary. :)
My cooking tragedies
When I was living in my college dorm, I managed to destroy a container of Kraft's Easy Mac. :(
