I'm a mother of 2 little girls age 8 and 2. We have recently become a blended family consisting of myself and my boyfriend, both age 43, his two boys age 15 and 8, and my girls. The 2 year old is mine and his together. We put the "func" in dysfunctional! I LOVE TO BAKE! I will try anything that is a dessert, and my entire family is the guinea pig! I wish I had paid more attention when I was younger and watching my grandma make holiday dinners. She made it look effortless. Now I know better. I made an Upside Down German Chocolate cake for my mom's birthday last year and it was the first time that I made it. I thought I did it wrong because the bottom where the coconut and pecans were got hard and crunchy. Heck! That turned out to be everyone's favorite part! Making a cake in the microwave back in the 80's. Enough said.
