I am happily married to a retired Police Chief. We have a total of seven children (4 his,3mine all ours). We live in a country setting. We have eight acres of peace and quite. I love to cook and bake. My husband loves it too.lol

Desserts. But I just love to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
None really. I started cooking for my dad and brother when I was 12 years old. It was my job in our home. So the only traditions are the ones that I have created with my children. I tought all of my boys to cook. I wanted to make sure that they could take care of themselves. And they are all very good cooks.
My cooking triumphs
My first turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I was only 13 and it turned out very good. My dad was so happy.
My cooking tragedies
A cheesecake. Yuck it was awful! lol
