Im a 27 year old Mommy of 3 crazy boys, who are eating more and more everyday, the Wife to a hard working, always hungry, handsom handsom fabulous man. We live up here in beautiful Alaska. I feel very lucky, blessed and gratefull for everything in my life. I am very very happy!!
My favorite things to cook
We love pasta!! And anything/everything cooked on a bbq! I love to bake. Im known for adding all kinds of healthy things into meals without the kids or husband noticing...he he he...shhhh..
I LOVE TO COOK ANYTHING!!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother was and is one of the 4H leaders in my hometown. Iv been baking pies and canning jam since i was able to stand up and hold a spoon at the same time. My grandmother and I would go berry picking from sun up to sundown, pass out with berry juice sticky on our faces and hands, wake up bright and early and start getting busy! Good times!!
My cooking triumphs
Well if your talking to my children, they would probebly say cake. My husband would more than likely say my "shrimp noodles". And i personaly think iv pretty much mastered chocolate chunk pecan cookies. But i love to bake and cook, as do my children. Rarely do my dishes turn out exactly the same twice.
My cooking tragedies
Just recently we getting ready for a big dinner party at our house. I was running late and franticly cooking about a million things. My desert was to be a Big beautiful Philly cheese cake. I baked it, then gave my Hubby a taste to soak up his review before everyone arrived. He spit it out on the plate, and just looked at me. I was heart broken. I tasted it myself. Ohhhh....it was so auful! Come to find out one of my "little chefs" had dumped a whole bag of pretzle salt in the sugar bin, I was to busy to notice the different texture. So I sent my husban rushing to the store for about the 5th time, and had it done with just enough time for it to chill. Live, learn, LAUUUUGH!!!!
