Oregon Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Very delicious! Used bread crumbs and substituted parsley with cilantro. I also used Old Bay seasoning. Instead of using butter and shortening, I just used olive oil. Served with a tarter sauce recipe I found on this website and wallah .. a delicious appetizer is created!

Pasta Pomodoro

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
4.5 With recommendations, I omitted the chicken broth and just added a bullion cube. However, I had cooked the pasta in advance and my angel hair ended up soaking up the juices. Maybe next time I will add a little bit of chicken broth. The dish was very light, very appropriate for a hot summer day. I also added shrimp and red pepper and substituted the basil with cilantro (what I had on hand). I also left out the cheese. Very good and easy to make.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

VERY VERY GOOD!! I used ramekins to better the presentation of the cake. Sprinkle it with confectioner's sugar, serve with fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream .. and perfection will meet your mouth. Have made this again and again!

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
Very very good! I shook a closed container to cover the onions with the flour mix. I also used panko bread crumbs. Very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I used vidalia onions for this recipe. I made these with the 'Actually Delicious Turkey Burger' I found on this website. An awesome combination!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
AMAZING!! I omitted the parsley as I did not have it on hand. I also added 1/2 a cup of chopped red bell pepper and with the recommendations of other reviewers, added a couple of splashed of Worcestershire Sauce and low sodium soy sauce. I used a whole egg instead of just egg whites and added a little more bread crumbs. I grilled these on my George Foreman and served with mini sliders! These were delicious, so juicy, and as I grilled them it filled my kitchen with delicious smells that made my mouth water! My mother cannot eat beef and these were a great substitution! Will definitely make again!

Red Pepper-Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
Sauce is a bit bland without the salmon. I doubled the sauce and added a 1/2 cup of fat free half and half as well. This dish is best suited for adults, me and my sister thought it was more of a 3.5 while my mother loved it. I put lemon pepper & pepper on the salmon before grilling it on my George Foreman. I thought the sauce lacked oomph .. salt or more jalapeƱo pepper maybe? The cilantro was very good and did not overpower the taste of the sauce.
