I am a marrried (20 years)mother of 4, grandmother of 1 (11 year old). I also have a very close family friend He is like a son to me) who is a Sous Chef from Morocco.. I have learned many things about cooking on my own throught out the years, but my "son" the chef is amazing. He has taught me more than you can imagine in less than a year. I could probably easily work in my own restuarant now - but who has time! Anyway, I love food, love cooking it, learning new recipes and watching my family and friends enjoy it. Thai Curried Chicken, Moroccan Chicken, pretty much anything Mediterranian, Italian ro BBQ'd. I prefer to use only organic meats, poultry and only the freshest vegatables and fruits. Thanksgiving is the biggest food day in our family! I cook all day for 20 minutes of pleasure. We are also big time into BBQ, since we live in sunny San Diego county where you can BBQ year round. I have mastered the art of prep work, I am very fast at it and can prepare meals as quick as a professional. On my anniversary one year about 15 years ago, I was 8 months pregnant and miserable. I baked a beautiful pan full of boneless pork loin chops with an amazing seafood stuffing. I took it out of the oven and put it on the stove top on a burner that was still hot. The pyrex blew and sent chards of glass all over the food, the stove and the floor. After a MAJOR emotional break down, I cleaned it all up and went to bed crying (And huungry). It was the worst food day of my life :0(
