All I can say is WOW ! I have made this recipe 3 times. After months of seeking out the best home made bread recipes, this is one of our top 2. My guests actually seem to prefer this one over the other a rustic italian bread). This is sweet, and has a spectacular taste from the whole wheat, brown sugar and oats. Amazing.. make it and you will love it.

this is a very nioce herb bread. Highly recommended. subtle and tastey. We placed a pan of water on the bottom of the oven and sprayed the loaf durinf baking with water - we have been told that this, along with a higer temperature results in a thicker crust. We loved it !
