I have a recipe for orange-beef that I hold in high esteem. When I saw this recipe, I thought I wouldn't enjoy a chicken version as much. Wrong-o! This is really great. The sauce is fantastic. I skipped marinating, dredged chix in cornstartch vs. flour, and blanched some cauliflower and red pepper, drained, and added to chix and sauce and served over rice. There is plenty of sauce to add some veggies to if you desire. Spectacular!

These were wonderful. I love that the pumpkin and accompaning spices are subtle enough to pair with some dark chocolate chips. I typically am not a fan of choc. chip pancakes, to me they just don't go. But with the flavors here they go deliciously. Me and my kids are in love!!!!

Love pie and love bars. So whats not to love here? Did use half butter and half shortening for crust to maintain flakiness and boost flavor. Also used fairly sweet winesap apples, so cut out the addition of the brown sugar. piped a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk on top. Made glaze fairly thick and piped it onto bars while still warm and in diagonal lines. Maybe next time I'll add little pieces of butter to the filling and extra cinnamon for more flavor and instead of making glaze with milk, use a little vanilla and apple cider. I like lots of flavor. Very good!!
