A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Get the freak out out of my way and give me a spoon!!!!!!!!!!! It's like i never did anything else with bananas before this cake. Love this no frost needed cake. My tweeks were as follows, 1/4 cup less of both sugars, 1TBS less butter or really fruit it up and replace half yummy butter w/ half yummy apple sauce, used whatever milk ( butter, soy ) i had in the frig, and i added all the bananas i had which was 1 bunch = 5 large. I could not let 1 of natures boomerangs go to waste and really you almost can't put too many in. One more add in if you like... sour cream a 1/4 cup of the real good stuff will give you that TANG.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Easy, Yummy muffins! You can not go wrong with this recipe. I did use greek honey yogurt instead of veg oil, because i was out of it. Any flavored or non flavored yogurt will do. Does not change the taste one bit, just makes them less guilt inducing when you have more then one, which trust me.......you will.

Banana Trifle

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
Not a huge fan of banana desserts, but this recipe changed my mind. I made it for a company cookout and the bowl was smoking.......... Thats how fast everyone ate it up. A couple changes made mine a crowd favorite. Use french vanilla pudding instead and slice bananas into medium bite size cubes. You can also use coolwhip and chess cookies to make it easier.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
Excellent cookie!!! I did not use all the spices, only had cinnamon, still perfect and since I had a can of pumpkin, used a bit more the a just a cup. The batter is a bit moist and can be hard to handle, simple use a ziplock and pipe it or freeze for 20 - 30 min. Lovely easy recipe, it's a keeper
